Overview

CHILUCHORCHASHMA — translated from Tajik "Forty-four spring". At the base of the hill breaks out 5 water sources, divided into 39 small streams. As a result of their connections formed a 13-metre wide single channel, full of fish. As for each historical place, the springs also have their own legend.
According to legend, the source appeared from the contact of five fingers of the hand of Caliph Ali. It is the place of mass pilgrimage.Chiluchor Chashma is located in the South of Tajikistan.

The Wakhan valley is located between in south-west of Tajikistan in Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province and north-east of Afghanistan. It contains the headwaters of the Amu Darya River, and was an ancient corridor for travelers from the Tarim Basin to Badakshan.
