See the bay your own way with this 2-day combo package, which combines a trip to Alcatraz with an all day San Francisco bike rental. On your first day, take a ferry to Alcatraz Island, and get access to go on the famous prison island. Go on a cell phone self-guided audio tour of the grounds and stay as long as you like during opening hours. This is an outdoor experience with no inside access to cellhouse or any building due to Covid restrictions.
Your second day includes a one full day self guided bike rental departing from Fisherman's Wharf (valid from 10am-5pm) (non motorized bike that you pedal yourself.) See the city the way you would like and not how other companies tell you to experience it! Guest may use the one time bike rental on the same day as Alcatraz after picking up their Alcatraz boarding pass if they choose. Bike vouchers not used within three days of Alcatraz date will be forfeited.

Great experience. Bike rental was extremely easy and you can return the bikes anytime even after store hours. The bike route to the Golden Gate Bridge had some steep roads but overall it was an easy ride.

We had two very good experiences with the bike rental and Alcatraz. Very enjoyable and very good service from the bikes and the Alcatraz staff

I found this visit very interesting but very sad.I know criminals need to be punished ect, but they are still a member of the human race, we should be able to find a better way to make them pay for their crimes.

this is a must in san fran, and this is a reasonable price for both activities. Just remember to print out the coupons

Alcatraz was quite interesting and fascinating. It was great to get the first boat in the morning with everything gradually coming out of the fog. San Francisco can only be explored by bicycle since traffic is heavy and it is to far to walk everything. It is an outstanding experience to ride through Fisherman's Dwarf along the ocean and finally over Golden Gate Bridge.

Bike rentals were easy, I suggest biking straight across the Golden Gate bridge early to beat the "traffic". Afternoons are crazy.
Book your tickets to the Rock early; I went straight to the prison hall audio tour (free). Cool experience.

Alcatraz is a must do when in San Fran but this is not the sensible way to do it. Book early directly with the ferry company! With this package you don't control your day - they let you know your ferry time the day before and unless you are on the first or last ferry of the day it is almost impossible to have time to use the bikes. We had a 10:30am ferry and were back at th wharf at 1pm. We coutour.more

We were so delighted to get a last minute booking to Alcatraz as it seemed to be sold out elsewhere! Communication was good and viator accommodated a change we asked for! Alcatraz is well worth a visit and recommend the talks during the day as well as audio!

The alcatraz tour is very informative. It was a shame I got a 3:45pm departure time as it didn't give me any time to to explore around the island. The island is very windy and can be cold at times even in summer. Food is only allowed on the dock once on the island. Best to eat before you go. The ferry also has a snack bar. Bottled water is allowed anywhere on the island.

I am glad I was able to get last minute tickets! The organization from Viator and Alcatraz cruises was very well done, simple and detailed instructions which makes it stressless.
