Visit Aquarium of the Bay for an interactive introduction to the fish and other marine life that live in San Francisco Bay and its surrounding Pacific waters. This general admission ticket includes access to the Aquarium’s main exhibit areas, which feature more than 20,000 animals. You can observe creatures like sharks, rays, sea stars and river otters. With its location at the foot of PIER 39 between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Alcatraz ferry landing, Aquarium of the Bay is easy to fit into your San Francisco sightseeing schedule.

U need printout to get in, or send them the pass on email.
But the Aquarium is beautiful and the shark-talk was fun!

This was one our last tours we took, it's a nice way to just relax and see some of the sea life that call the bay their home. It's not a big aquarium but it has some really nice features, make sure you take it in when in San Francisco.

I've been to the Pier 39 Bay Aquarium before and it has always been a great experience. The one thing that stands out is the touch-pool area when you can observe starfish, rays and small sharks extremely close-up. This was the first year I visited the aquarium at the Academy of Science which unfortunately blows Bay Aquarium out of the water, so to speak. Still, there is nothing wrong with the Btour.more

This was disappointing. Perhaps our expectations were a bit high considering we it’s located next to the ocean, but the overhead aquarium didn’t excite my 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter much. It would have been nice to see a larger variety of fish. It’s worth $8 at the most. Save your money for whale watching or some of the fun shops that offer fun souvenirs on Pier 39.

It isn’t the worth the money which I kept for the entry fees and there is not much to do in this place

Such an exciting aquarium to walk through during these times! Social distancing protocols were taken seriously while still being able to enjoy seeing the animals. Took about 45 minutes to walk through the aquarium, and you can walk down Pier 39 to see all the beautiful sea lions after!!
