Cheaper way to take in the sites. Really enjoyed the bus ride at night. The commentator was such fun

A good trip in all, but there were time restrictions on the day, that we were not aware of until we were on the hop-on-hop-off bus. The bus basically shuts down at 6 p.m. and a night tour commences about an hour later (which was not included in our 24 hour (?) bus pass). We did have a good time in the Empire State building and got a chance to do some shopping. It was a little inconvenient hatour.more

I would NOT recommend using NY City Explorer pass here. We could never find a bus. When we did, just drove right past us. Tickets for 911 Memorial and Empire State Building did not have the ability to “jump the line” we waited in long lines and had to exchange our printed tickets at their ticket Windows. This defeats the purpose of buying online. I never found a place that had the bus routes ortour.more

This pass is good value if you intend to do multiple attractions, you just need to calculate before you arrive the things you will see, and plan before you arrive. Not sure the big bus is the best for New York, but was great in other cities.

We booked a 3 attraction pass. It would have been cheaper to pay at the venues!!!

I was a little hesitant about getting this at first but after reading the reviews I went for it and I'm so glad I did, it made visiting many attractions so much easier, I purchased the 5 attractions but now I wish I had done 7 or 10, I used it for the Metropolitan Museum, Intrepid Museum, Top of the Rock, Empire State building Observatory, and the Circle Line. I will definitely purchase this atour.more

Highly recommended, convenient!

I used this for 4 attractions, and was so easy to use! If you can, make sure you screenshoot the QR code that you get provided with via email, as you'll need this every time you line up for your pre-booked tickets. Be aware - you can't just turn up to the top of the rock unless you're there first thing at 8am - I arrived at 11:45 and the next available group was 12:50 which will vary on the daytour.more

I felt this was good for value. I used it to go to the MoMA, Top of the rock and the MET. Was easy to claim the tickets and would highly recommend going to the top of the rock at night. Beautiful views!

The pass worked as you can pick which attractions you want to visit and are not committed to any one in particular. We ended up changing things around a bit and had no problems.
