Visits to the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island are musts in the Big Apple. On this guided tour, you get priority boarding on the ferry from Manhattan to visit the two important historical sites. Visit the grounds of Liberty Island and go inside the Statue of Liberty Museum. Then hop the ferry to Ellis Island and learn about the millions of people who arrived here between 1892 and 1954 in hope of living the American dream.
For the comprehensive 4 hour option, you will have Pedestal Monument access not offered with most other tours. Go inside the pedestal for a unique perspective from the observation deck and from inside the Statue. [Note Pedestal and Museum are closed in 2020 due to COVID]
For the Express 2 hour without Pedestal access, we will have an optimized itinerary to see both Islands fast with guided Liberty Island tour. You may stay as long as you wish after the tour.

Our tour guide was Nicola. His instructions on meeting him were spot on. Nicola was remarkably knowledgeable, informative and extremely entertaining. My wife and I really enjoyed our two hour tour to the Liberty Island with him. Nicola gave us great tips on our tour of Ellis Island. I highly recommend him as your tour guide! The highlight of our tour was to personally meet the keeper of thetour.more

Corey was an amazing guide! He was so full of energy, information and charm! I love learning new things, and (even though I've been to the Lady before) he taught me some new things! I highly recommend this tour!

We booked a Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Tour through Viator the second week of March, 2020. This was a small group of 12 with an outstanding tour guide. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. It was a real highlight of our New York visit.

Everyone needs to see this piece of history. I would also recommend paying for a tour guide. Ben was our guide and was outstanding. He added so much to it and the fact he had researched his great-grandparents passage through Ellis Island was a huge +. Ben made the tour real personal and couldn’t have been more helpful. When you book this tour, ask for Ben.

This tour was so worth it! Nothing to worry about as far as lines, which boat to take, how to get into the attractions, when to arrive, when to leave, what to do, whatnot to do. All the stress was taken out of the excursion, especially for visitors who don't know NYC well. Love the Statue of Liberty Tour bus especially loved Ellis island. SO fascinating - especially seeing the hall and the difftour.more

Fantastic tour. Very well organized even though it was crowded. Our guide Steven was just the best; full of great information but equally entertaining. Five stars!
