This walking tour led by Captain Bryan is not your average "sit there and shut up" tour where the guide won't even remember you. Rather, after brief introduction, Captain Bryan will lead you on a historic journey of how Shem Creek came to prominence with its famous shrimping fleet and much more. Unlike any other tour in the area, guest have the ability to see the industry at work. Perhaps the group will meet Mr. Rector at Geechie Seafood with his several shrimp boats, beautiful reminders of the bountiful harvest to be conducted offshore. Furthermore, sample some of the key lime pie made by the family of Mrs. Fitch who is the owner of Mt. Pleasant Seafood or try your hand cast netting or a crabbing. This is not a tour, it is an experience to immerse yourself in the Shem Culture. Take back history, culture, language, snacks, but most of all guests will take from this experience an underlying appreciation for our local shrimpers and the history behind these hard working men and women.

Charleston Harbor Tour (3 Hours)<br><br>Depending on tides, currents and wind our three hour harbor sail will take you out to Fort Sumter, the Charleston Battery and waterfront, up to the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Yorktown and Patriots Point. We will circle the entire harbor while you relax on the bow, amidships or cockpit and breath it all in. It is a rare occasion when we do not see a dolphin riding our bow wake or playing in the harbor waters around Charleston.<br><br>Charleston Harbor, Offshore, Anchor and Swim (6 hours) can be customized at a different rate.<br>Want something a bit more? Reserve a six-hour charter and head offshore, sail the harbor then anchor out. While at anchor, listen to your favorite music, grab a bite to eat and relax in a hammock or on deck after a refreshing swim. Bring your favorite beverage, hors d’ oeuvres or picnic dinner. Enjoy a perfect day on your own floating island!

Captain Bryan will provide history about 5 historic sites (Fort Moultrie, Fort Sumter, The Battery (Oyster Point), Castle Pinckney and the site of Fort Johnson. Along these tours you will also have the opportunity to see a multitude of native wildlife including the friendly bottlenose dolphin and diving pelicans.
